Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Assisted Living

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to residents in compliance with Federal, State, and company regulations
• Manage admissions of new residents, including assessments and documentation
• Complete acute and long-term care or service plans
• Track clinical systems such as wounds or infection control
• Provide health-related consultations within the community
• Notify physicians and family members of changes in resident health
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff
• Conduct educational meetings for residents and staff
• Maintain resident confidentiality and manage clinical documentation

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program
• 1+ years of experience in senior care or a related field
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
• CPR Certification
• Proficiency in English
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks
• High tolerance for working under pressure
