Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and implement resident care in accordance with company standards and regulations
• Attend Resident Care conferences and maintain accurate Resident Care Plans
• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders
• Systematically order medications and ensure expired items are replaced
• Document patient care issues and report to appropriate personnel
• Recognize signs and symptoms and use proper judgment for treatment selection
• Supervise and direct ancillary personnel

Requirements

• Colorado State Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer word processing and database experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility
• 1 year of experience overseeing and monitoring staff
• IV Certification
