Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Complete medical forms, QA reports, evaluations, and charting
• Prepare 24-hour reports for DON and forms for admission, transfer, or discharge
• Document pertinent information in resident care notes and communicate with caregiver staff
• Review monthly kardexes for accuracy in physician order transcription and adherence to policies
• Monitor caregiver interdisciplinary progress notes to ensure regulatory compliance and resident-centered care

Requirements

• Current Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse License
• Current CPR Certification
• Two years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing experience or New Graduate status
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Proficiency in English language
