Licensed Optician

Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand ambassador by delivering exceptional service through the Sunglass Hut Experience
• Fill ophthalmic sunglass prescriptions and custom fit eyewear
• Take and record precise measurements and accurately adjust/fit frames and lenses
• Act as an on-the-floor leader in optical acumen and assist the team with complex prescriptions
• Utilize POS technology, tablets, and computers to manage transactions and customer needs
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and organization to meet brand standards
• Support management in achieving sales goals and adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Valid State Licensure in Opticianry
• Proven experience in optical dispensing
• Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills
• Proficiency with basic math and familiarity with POS systems and tablets
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail and customer service environments
• Strong awareness of current fashion trends
