Licensed Optician

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional customer experience by providing urgent and high-quality service to meet customer needs
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge regarding lens and frame features and benefits
• Act as a leader in optical operations to drive business growth and Rx expansion
• Foster a learning environment to help team members become experts in optical products
• Build relationships with the local community to attract new customers
• Resolve customer issues quickly and effectively, partnering with management when necessary
• Support daily retail operational functions and maintain store visual and housekeeping standards

Requirements

• Current State Optician License
• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
• 1+ years of retail sales experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in optical dispensing
