Licensed Optician

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by welcoming clients and defining their visual needs
• Perform precise optical dispensing, including taking measurements and adjusting eyewear
• Ensure finished eyewear meets high-quality standards and specific prescription requirements
• Act as a technical leader regarding optical knowledge and complex product prescriptions
• Utilize store technology and tools effectively to manage high customer volumes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store environment
• Drive exceptional results regarding brand KPIs and sales targets
• Adhere to all company policies, including inventory management and promotional procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Valid State License for opticians
• Proven experience in optical dispensing
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and technical tools (POS, computers, calculators)
• Ability to use and manage mobile technology such as iPads or tablets
• Strong sales skills and awareness of current fashion trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales and customer service environments
