Licensed Optician

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming customers and setting clear expectations
• Provide expert optical dispensing, including custom fitting of glasses and precise prescription placement
• Take and record accurate measurements and adjust eyewear with high attention to detail
• Act as a leader in optical acumen and assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions
• Utilize technology, including POS systems and tablets, accurately and efficiently
• Maintain store appearance by keeping the environment clean, attractive, and organized
• Adhere to all company policies, including inventory management and safety practices

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Valid State Licensure as an Optician
• Proven experience in optical dispensing
• Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills
• Basic math skills and familiarity with computers, POS systems, and calculators
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment
• Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and eyewear merchandise
