Licensed Optician

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set clear expectations for their vision care experience
• Custom fit eyewear and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Take and record accurate measurements and adjust eyewear with high attention to detail
• Act as a leader in optical acumen and assist the team with complex prescriptions
• Utilize technology and POS systems accurately to manage customer volume
• Maintain store appearance by keeping the environment clean, attractive, and organized
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies
• Adhere to all company policies, including inventory management and safety practices

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Valid State Licensure as an Optician
• Proven experience in optical dispensing
• Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills
• Basic math skills and familiarity with computers, calculators, and POS systems
• Ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet for selling and service

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment
• Strong awareness of current fashion trends
