Licensed Optician

Responsibilities

• Deliver legendary customer service by welcoming customers and setting clear expectations
• Custom fit eyewear and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Take and record accurate measurements and adjust/fit eyewear with high attention to detail
• Act as a leader in optical acumen and assist the team with complex product needs
• Utilize technology and POS systems accurately to manage customer volume and prescriptions
• Maintain store appearance by keeping the environment clean, attractive, and organized
• Adhere to all company policies, including inventory management and safety practices

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Valid State Licensure as an Optician
• Proven experience in optical dispensing
• Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills
• Proficiency with basic math and familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
• Ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet for selling purposes

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment
• Strong awareness of current fashion trends
