Licensed Optician

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their vision needs
• Custom fit eyewear and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Take and record accurate measurements and adjust eyewear for a perfect fit
• Explore customer needs through open-ended questions and identify special requirements
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge regarding lens features and frame benefits
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and organization
• Utilize POS systems, tablets, and other store technology accurately
• Achieve brand KPIs and follow company policies regarding inventory and promotions

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Valid State Licensure as an Optician
• Proven experience in optical dispensing
• Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills
• Basic math skills and familiarity with computers and POS systems
• Ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet for sales
