Licensed Optician

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide legendary customer service to meet their vision needs
• Custom fit eyewear and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Take and record accurate measurements and adjust eyewear for correct fit
• Explore customer needs through open-ended questions and identify special requirements via prescriptions
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge regarding lens features and frame benefits
• Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume retail environment
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and organization
• Adhere to company policies regarding inventory management, promotions, and safety

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Valid State Licensure as an Optician
• Proven experience in optical dispensing
• Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators
• Ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet for sales
