Licensed Optician - Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive and monitor profit, sales, and performance goals according to company standards
• Oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with operational guidelines
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates to ensure timely completion of daily functions
• Lead and coach associates toward achieving sales and customer service goals
• Assist the General Manager with staffing needs, recruiting, and retaining high-caliber staff
• Ensure effective merchandising and execution of marketing and pricing promotions
• Mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law

Requirements

• Valid state optical license
• Proven experience in optical sales
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• ABO and NCLE certifications
• Ability to analyze and understand financial reports
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service abilities
