About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive and monitor profit, sales, and performance goals according to company standards
- Oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with operational guidelines
- Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates to ensure timely completion of daily functions
- Lead and coach associates toward achieving sales and customer service targets
- Assist the General Manager with staffing needs, recruiting, and talent retention
- Mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law
- Ensure effective merchandising and execution of marketing and pricing promotions
Requirements
- Valid state optical license
- Proven experience in optical sales
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- ABO and NCLE Certifications
- Ability to analyze and understand financial reports
- Strong communication and organizational skills
