Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) - Neurology

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including performing ADLs and obtaining clinical data such as vital signs, heights, and weights
• Utilize universal precautions and collect specimens or perform point-of-care testing, recording all results in medical records
• Manage the storage, handling, and disposal of medications in accordance with the Medication Storage and Handling Policy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping hallways clear and managing linen disposal
• Assist visitors and answer telephones to support clinic operations
• Support new co-workers in learning departmental workflows and procedures

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
• Proficiency in keyboarding and familiarity with computer use

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a hospital setting
