About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform activities of daily living and personal care needs under the guidance of a Registered Nurse
- Execute technical skills and procedures relating to the physical, mental health, and social needs of patients
- Document care provided and report observations regarding patient physical, social, and mental status to the RN
- Maintain patient care areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adequate supplies of materials and equipment
- Adhere to safe patient handling policies and the five rights of delegation
- Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Serve as a preceptor for new employees as needed
Requirements
- Current New Hampshire State LNA license
- Proof of LNA Education Certificate
- Final report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results as required by the NH Board of Nursing
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds occasionally
