Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
• Measure and monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, and report findings to supervisors
• Observe resident conditions and report any concerns to the broader nursing team
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
• Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed
• Maintain a hygienic environment by cleaning surfaces, changing linens, and sanitizing resident rooms
• Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and assist with repositioning
• Act as a compassionate companion and a communication conduit between medical staff, residents, and visitors

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
• Strong understanding of nursing care procedures and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with medical professionals, residents, and families
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
