Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ALFs, SNFs, and other post-acute facilities with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Help residents with mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor residents throughout the shift and alert the nursing team to any concerns
• Check and report vital signs, including temperature and blood pressure
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by changing linens and cleaning resident rooms
• Move residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, and exam tables
• Provide companionship and compassionate support to residents and their families
• Adhere to established resident care plans and communication protocols

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Appropriate bedside manner and interpersonal skills
