Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in post-acute facilities, including ALFs and SNFs
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor resident conditions and vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring hygiene best practices and clearing hazards
• Transport residents around the facility and assist with movements as needed
• Build trusting relationships with residents through daily interaction and companionship
• Adhere to established care plans, rules, regulations, and facility policies

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Understanding of basic nursing care procedures and medical terminology
• Ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals, residents, and families
• High level of attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs
