Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ALFs, SNFs, and other post-acute facilities with activities of daily living (ADLs) including mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor residents throughout the shift and alert the broader nursing team to any health or safety concerns
• Check and record vital signs such as temperature and blood pressure, reporting abnormal results to supervising staff
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by changing linens and assisting with room cleanliness
• Move residents safely to and from wheelchairs, beds, and exam tables
• Provide companionship and compassionate engagement to residents and their families
• Adhere strictly to established resident care plans and facility policies

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
• Proficiency in medical terminology and basic nursing care procedures
• Strong observational skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and medical staff
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
