Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ALFs, SNFs, and other post-acute facilities with activities of daily living (ADLs) including mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor residents throughout the shift and alert the broader nursing team to any concerns
• Check and report vital signs, such as temperature and blood pressure, to supervising staff
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by changing linens and assisting with room cleanliness
• Move residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, and exam tables
• Provide companionship and compassionate support to residents and their families
• Adhere strictly to established resident care plans

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
• Understanding of nursing care procedures and medical terminology
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills for interacting with medical professionals, residents, and families
