Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care within the Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit (CICU) under the direction of a Registered Nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide personal care
• Perform clinical tasks within the scope of LNA practice in accordance with health system policies
• Report all observations, symptoms, and changes in patient condition to the RN
• Document patient information in the medical record as appropriate
• Support patients and families by addressing psychosocial needs and cultural preferences
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
• Follow all infection prevention and universal precaution policies

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Nursing Assistant License
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• BLS authorization
