Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical and technical functions for pre-op and post-op patients under the direction of an RN
• Provide direct patient care, including Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and personal care needs
• Document care provided and report observations regarding patient physical, social, and mental status to the RN
• Coordinate patient and information flow between clinical staff, patients, families, and other departments
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning
• Assist with order entry processes and patient information updates in the computer system
• Prepare and organize perioperative medical records according to HIMS specifications
• Adhere to safe patient handling policies and the five rights of delegation

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) licensure
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
• LNA Education Certificate and final report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results
• One year of related experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
