Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living and personal care needs under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Execute technical skills and procedures relating to the physical, mental health, and social needs of patients
• Document care provided and report observations of patient physical, social, and mental status to the RN
• Maintain patient care areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adequate supplies of materials and equipment
• Adhere to safe patient handling policies and the five rights of delegation
• Demonstrate strong time management skills while performing job-specific requirements
• Serve as a preceptor for new employees as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid LNA Education Certificate
• Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results (as required by the NH Board of Nursing)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
• Current New Hampshire State LNA license
• Ability to work as an effective member of a healthcare team
