About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform activities of daily living and personal care needs under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Execute technical skills and procedures relating to the physical, mental health, and social needs of patients
- Document care provided and report observations of patient physical, social, and mental status to the RN
- Maintain patient care areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adequate supplies of materials and equipment
- Adhere to safe patient handling policies and the five rights of delegation
- Demonstrate strong time management skills while performing job-specific requirements
- Serve as a preceptor for new employees as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid LNA Education Certificate
- Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results (as required by the NH Board of Nursing)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
- Current New Hampshire State LNA license
- Ability to work as an effective member of a healthcare team
