Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living and personal care needs under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Execute technical skills and procedures relating to the physical, mental, and social needs of patients
• Document care provided and report observations of patient status and basic data to the RN
• Maintain patient care areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adequate supplies of materials and equipment
• Adhere to safe patient handling policies and the five rights of delegation
• Demonstrate strong time management skills while performing job-specific requirements

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire State LNA license
• LNA Education Certificate and final report of written and clinical competency testing results (as required by the NH Board of Nursing)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification or equivalent
• Ability to work full-time night shifts
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds
