Licensed Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living and personal care needs under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Execute technical skills and procedures relating to the physical, mental, and social needs of patients
• Document care provided and report observations of patient status and basic data to the RN
• Adhere to safe patient handling policies and demonstrate strong time management skills
• Maintain patient care areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adequate supplies of material and equipment
• Receive and perform delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation
• Serve as a preceptor for new employees as needed

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire State LNA license
• Proof of LNA Education Certificate
• Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results (as required by the NH Board of Nursing)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification or equivalent
• Ability to work as a member of a healthcare team
