Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in the OTP program
• Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management
• Design and deliver psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation and coping skills
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated care
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment
• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
• Active independent licensure (LGSW, LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, or LGPC)
• Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Ability to work in person at the Elkton, MD location

Preferred Qualifications

• EMDR experience
• Experience working with both adolescents and adults
