Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and reassessments with referred customers
• Perform bio psychosocial assessments using approved questionnaires and techniques
• Conduct Social Security Administration sequential evaluation processes for determining disabilities
• Identify customer functional limitations and make functional capacity outcome determinations
• Coordinate with Review Physicians and Evaluating Clinicians for further medical or mental health assessments
• Compile clinical assessment forms and prepare reports as required by HRA
• Use motivational interviewing techniques to elicit information from customers
• Collaborate with service track staff to interpret clinical findings for service planning

Requirements

• Licensed or certified health professional (LCSW, CRC, LMHC, or HRA-approved equivalent)
• Four years of clinical assessment experience including bio psychosocial assessments and SSA disability assessments
• Experience in fast-paced, performance-driven team environments
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing and care management techniques
• Experience with publicly-funded programs, preferably TANF
• Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements related to program responsibilities
• Ability to use various electronic systems
