Licensed Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform professional quality rehabilitative massage therapy to control pain and reduce stress
• Assess patient conditions and suggest appropriate massage techniques based on health status
• Complete patient notes and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA
• Consult with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physicians to develop treatment plans
• Educate patients on postural improvement, stretching, and muscle health
• Maintain treatment rooms and common areas, including cleaning, sterilization, and stocking

Requirements

• Active Washington State Massage Therapist License
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent customer service skills and work ethic
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Willingness to learn new techniques, including working over clothing

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of experience as a licensed massage therapist
• Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of modalities such as Cupping, Gua Sha, Graston, Myofascial Release, or Lymphatic Drainage
