Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Responsibilities

• Practice within the guidelines of state licensing boards, APA Ethical Principles, and MTF privileges
• Comply with Army OTSG/MEDCOM, DHA, and Combatant Command Force Health Protection policies for deployment assessments
• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews and collateral sources
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the DSM
• Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups, assisting medical and surgical patients with illness or injury recovery
• Assist in the rehabilitation of patients

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate Degree from a CSWE Accredited School
• Active, unrestricted LCSW license in any US State, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands
• Minimum of 4 years of clinical social work experience post-licensure (preferably in a DoD or VA setting)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross
• Active Secret Clearance (TS with SCI eligibility preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in behavioral interventions, crisis debriefing, and case management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing clinical services to individuals, couples, or groups in psychotherapy settings
• Understanding of military lifestyle and culture
• Experience in public speaking and presenting formal briefings to leadership
