Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (Army)

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced behavioral health support services to the US Army to enhance psychological readiness.
• Develop and implement tailored Health & Wellness Programs for Army personnel.
• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews and collateral sources.
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses in accordance with the DSM.
• Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups, assisting patients with illness or injury rehabilitation.
• Comply with Army OTSG/MEDCOM, DHA, and Combatant Command Force Health Protection policies.
• Practice within state licensing board guidelines and APA Ethical Principles.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate Degree from a CSWE Accredited School.
• Active, full, and unrestricted LCSW license in any US State, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
• Minimum of 4 years of clinical social work experience post-licensure within the last 5 years.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Ability to maintain a Secret security clearance (will upgrade to TS/SCI upon hiring).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in behavioral interventions, crisis debriefing, and case management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a government setting such as the DoD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
• Strong understanding of military lifestyle and culture.
• Experience providing clinical services to diverse populations, including enlisted personnel and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and present formal briefings to leadership.
