Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health care and clinical social work services to special operations service members and their families.
• Conduct behavioral assessments, interviewing, and evidence-based therapies for the evaluation and treatment of psychological disorders.
• Perform individual, family, group, and couple's psychotherapy, as well as alcohol and drug treatment evaluations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and produce detailed reports of evaluations and treatments.
• Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and school districts.
• Manage case functions, including assessing treatment adherence and providing patient education regarding mental health conditions.
• Participate in military-specific training and quality improvement meetings.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) or equivalent degree from a CSWE-accredited graduate school.
• Current, unrestricted clinical license to practice social work in any US state, DC, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the independent practice of clinical social work in a mental health setting within the last five years.
• Fluency in English (both oral and written).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military or Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience.
• Experience working in a government setting, such as a Department of Defense (DOD) or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Treatment Facility.
• Experience with brief behavioral interventions.
