Licensed Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform standardized vehicle inspections including stationary and road tests
• Diagnose and assess vehicle issues and damage
• Perform Ontario Provincial Safety Inspections
• Make recommendations regarding vehicle repairs and best courses of action
• Execute repairs and preventative maintenance such as oil changes, suspension, and brake jobs
• Create and maintain documentation for repairs, inspections, and estimates
• Ensure vehicles meet mechanical and safety standards
• Communicate vehicle status, repair needs, and completion timelines
• Use diagnostic tools and shop systems like Google Drive and Slack

Requirements

• 310S Red Seal or equivalent certification or training
• Experience working with domestic, import, and European car brands
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
• Proficiency using technology such as Google Drive and Slack
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
