Licensed Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to local schools, community events, and organized sports in accordance with state laws and contracts
• Collaborate closely with sports medicine team members and supervising physicians
• Deliver sports medicine consultations to coaches, athletes, parents, and others
• Conduct athletic training and sports medicine workshops as requested
• Maintain daily treatment records and documentation on patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, coaches, and the sports medicine team

Requirements

• Current athletic training license or eligibility in the state of Alabama
• Current certification in good standing with the Board of Certification
• Competency in applying athletic training principles, methods, materials, and equipment
• CPR certification
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
• Flexibility with scheduling, including willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent organizational and listening skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
