About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient therapeutic counseling services to individuals, families, and groups focusing on general mental health and substance use.
  • Deliver behavioral health-related prevention and education services to the primarily Spanish-speaking community.
  • Perform clinical assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation, billing, and program audit support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams and external healthcare providers to facilitate patient care and follow-up.
  • Participate in case staffing meetings and peer review sessions to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted AZBBHE licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Valid Arizona driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of specialized experience in mental health and/or substance abuse.
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations.
