Licensed Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in driving business results and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Lead, train, and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Assist in recruiting and building a high-caliber talent pipeline
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain a safe working environment
• Provide expert optical services, including lens choice consultation and digital measurements
• Adjust and repair eyewear to ensure high-quality patient care
• Manage administrative duties and maintain store visual standards

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Current and valid state Opticianry license
• 1+ year of management or supervisory experience with direct reports
• Strong basic math skills and familiarity with retail technology
• Strong English communication and listening skills
• Proven ability to problem-solve and demonstrate high-level selling skills

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent
• Previous leadership experience in the retail or customer service industry
• Knowledge of basic optics and current store merchandise
• ABO Certification or relevant state licensure
• Brand Final Inspector Certification
