Licensed Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in driving business results and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Lead, train, and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure high performance
• Assist in recruiting and developing a high-caliber talent pipeline
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Maintain store appearance and execute visual merchandising directives
• Perform licensed opticianry duties, including providing lens expertise, adjusting eyewear, and performing digital measurements
• Manage administrative duties and maintain positive relationships with doctors

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Current and valid state Opticianry license
• 1+ years of management or supervisory experience with direct reports
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies
• Strong basic math skills and familiarity with computers and cash registers
• Excellent English communication and listening skills
• Proven ability to problem-solve and demonstrate high-level selling skills

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent
• Previous leadership experience in the retail or customer service industry
• Knowledge of basic optics and current store merchandise
• ABO Certification or relevant state licensure
• Brand Final Inspector Certification
