Licensed Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in driving key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, conversion, and customer retention
• Lead and develop the team by providing training, guidance, and constructive feedback
• Assist in recruiting, selecting, and staffing high-caliber team members
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Maintain store appearance and execute visual merchandising directives
• Perform licensed opticianry duties, including dispensing eyewear, adjusting/repairing frames, and taking digital measurements
• Provide expert product knowledge regarding lens choices based on prescriptions

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Current and valid state Opticianry license
• 1+ years of management or supervisory experience with direct reports
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies
• Strong basic math and communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent
• Previous leadership experience in the retail or customer service industry
• Knowledge of basic optics and current store merchandise
• ABO Certification or relevant state licensure
• Brand Final Inspector Certification
