Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Responsibilities

• Certify own work and the work of others after verifying tasks are performed according to approved data and authorization scope
• Complete all technical documentation accurately and on time in accordance with company procedures
• Perform and certify aircraft maintenance activities in compliance with company, health, safety, and airport regulations
• Lead and guide Aircraft Technicians to ensure safe and effective working practices
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free environment to prevent Foreign Object Damage (FOD)
• Ensure all materials, parts, tools, and equipment are prepared and serviceable at the start of each shift
• Conduct inspections on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and company vehicles as required
• Promote a culture of safety and positive reporting in line with the Safety & Quality Management Manual (SQMM)

Requirements

• High School Leaving Certificate, Diploma, or University/College Degree
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type convertible to GCAA)
• 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience
• 5 years of certifying experience in Line or Base/Light Maintenance environments
• 2-3 years of certifying experience on at least two Etihad aircraft type ratings (Level 3) including Airbus A320/A330/A350/A380 or Boeing 777/787
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to operational excellence and safety
