Liaison Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison support for ongoing modifications across BGS product lines, including Interiors, Connectivity/VIP, Avionics, and Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF).
• Write, coordinate, and disposition Installation Deviation Records (IDRs) for airplane modifications.
• Review and respond to Service Requests (SR) from airline customers via the Boeing Communication System.
• Apply engineering principles to research and resolve technical, operational, and quality issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design nonconformances.
• Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with Boeing standards.
• Develop and implement product and process improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current MRB certification or certification held within the last 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience.
• Multidisciplinary engineering background.
• Experience supporting aftermarket modifications.
• Proficiency with Model Based Definition, CATIA, ENOVIA, and PDM.
• Knowledge of the aircraft certification process.
• Proven ability to lead and work both independently and within a team environment.
