About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide liaison support for ongoing modifications across BGS product lines, including Interiors, Connectivity/VIP, Avionics, and Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF).
- Write, coordinate, and disposition Installation Deviation Records (IDRs) for airplane modifications.
- Review and respond to Service Requests (SR) from airline customers via the Boeing Communication System.
- Apply engineering principles to research and resolve technical, operational, and quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design nonconformances.
- Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with Boeing standards.
- Develop and implement product and process improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current MRB certification or certification held within the last 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience.
- Multidisciplinary engineering background.
- Experience supporting aftermarket modifications.
- Proficiency with Model Based Definition, CATIA, ENOVIA, and PDM.
- Knowledge of the aircraft certification process.
- Proven ability to lead and work both independently and within a team environment.
