About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of distributors in China, including recruitment, evaluation, and commercial excellence.
  • Align distributor business activities with Lubrizol’s strategic goals by developing annual sales targets and growth plans.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as new customer development, product promotion, and payment collection.
  • Resolve potential conflicts in distributor cooperation, such as regional competition or pricing issues, to maintain market order.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and customer service departments to manage demand, forecasts, and inventory allocation.
  • Identify growth opportunities by assisting distributors in expanding downstream end-customer reach.
  • Provide regular management reports to the China Sales Lead and internal departments regarding performance and resource needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Lubricating Oil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of B2B distributor management experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Proven ability to establish or optimize regional distributor networks and drive sales growth.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to build long-term relationships with partners.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the lubricating oil, refrigeration oil, or compressor/refrigeration equipment industry.
  • Basic knowledge of the industrial lubricating oil market.
  • Strong data analysis skills using Excel and sales reporting tools.
