Leveraged Finance Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition finance, private credit, and sponsor-backed lending
• Advise lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, and financial institutions on complex financing arrangements and debt structuring
• Draft, review, and negotiate leveraged finance documentation, including LMA-based facility agreements and intercreditor agreements
• Partner with legal, finance, and investment teams to support domestic and international transactions and manage legal risk

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK or equivalent overseas qualification
• Strong experience in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, private credit, or debt finance
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating LMA-based facility agreements and security documentation
• Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
