Leveraged Finance Credit Risk Vice President - Sports and Entertainment

Responsibilities

• Identify key risk factors for clients and transactions within the Sports and Entertainment industry to develop forward-looking risk assessments.
• Lead client due diligence by attending meetings and using financial models to evaluate value drivers and recommend appropriate credit structures.
• Apply corporate finance and accounting expertise to develop financing structures and prepare credit approval materials.
• Review and negotiate legal documentation to ensure terms align with credit approvals.
• Monitor portfolio risk ratings and proactively manage deteriorating credits or problem situations.
• Prepare and present quarterly financial snapshots and annual portfolio reviews to senior management.
• Assist in the training and development of analysts and collaborate with middle office and data teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 7 years of commercial or investment banking lending experience, including extensive credit, structuring, and marketing.
• Advanced knowledge of financial statements, accounting, corporate finance, and financial modeling.
• Experience with credit agreement documentation.
• Knowledge of derivative products and documentation, including ISDA and CSA.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with key stakeholders.
• Ability to perform due diligence, negotiation, and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
