Level II Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned preventative maintenance on LP and electric material handling equipment (MHE)
• Execute fluid changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups
• Conduct brake and riser adjustments and inspect/repack wheel bearings
• Manage battery maintenance, including watering, removal, repairs, and installation
• Troubleshoot and repair steering and overheating issues
• Replace various parts including horns, lights, and tires
• Maintain high productivity levels and meet monthly service targets

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience troubleshooting electric or LP equipment
• Foundational knowledge of electrical, LP, and hydraulic systems
• Proficiency with DVOM (Digital Volt-Ohm Meter)
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and service manuals
• Must provide own hand tools
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments with noise or respiratory hazards

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-high school or technical school education
