Level II Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on LP and electric material handling equipment (MHE)
• Execute preventative maintenance services including fluid changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups
• Conduct battery removal, repairs, and installations, including scheduled watering
• Troubleshoot and repair steering, overheating, and electrical issues
• Inspect and repack wheel bearings and perform brake/riser adjustments
• Maintain high productivity levels and meet monthly service completion targets
• Perform part replacements for components such as horns, lights, and tires

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience troubleshooting electric or LP equipment
• Basic knowledge of electrical, LP, hydraulic systems, and DVOM
• Ability to read and follow wiring schematics and service manual instructions
• Must provide own hand tools
• Proficiency with MS Office computer applications
• Ability to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction
• Ability to work in various conditions, including inclement weather and noisy environments
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-high school or technical school education
