Lending Product Owner Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies and visions for Securities-Based Lending (SBL) facility monitoring, data management, and downstream reporting.
• Support discovery efforts and research using design thinking to uncover solutions for SBL process and data-quality challenges.
• Maintain and develop a product backlog, including epics, stories, and acceptance criteria, to support the strategic roadmap.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Assist with testing and release readiness for changes impacting SBL monitoring dashboards and eligibility outcomes.
• Support day-to-day execution through process documentation, data definitions, and operating model development.
• Facilitate collaboration with risk management and compliance teams to support eligibility-rule governance.
• Use data and user tooling to perform exception analysis and drive continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Graduate degree with 5+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, or a related field.
• Proven understanding of product strategy and roadmap development.
• Experience with the product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to support structured prioritization through data and insights.
• Basic data analytics and digital skills to support data validation and exception analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in margin lending, secured lending, or rule-based eligibility and controls monitoring.
• Strong influencing skills to manage diverse stakeholders across different functions.
• Ability to manage complex process and data flows, including issue triage and remediation.
• Proactive team player with experience sharing knowledge within a global function.
