About the Company

Hawk is the leading provider of AI-supported anti-money laundering and fraud detection technology. Banks and payment providers globally use Hawk’s combination of traditional rules and explainable AI to improve AML compliance and fraud prevention.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize AI-driven tools for smart contract support and commercial agreement workflows
• Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering to improve internal documentation and process checklists
• Support legal operations through modern frameworks and cross-functional projects
• Review, draft, and organize commercial, vendor, and partnership agreements
• Conduct legal research in financial regulation, AML/Compliance, data protection, corporate law, and employment law
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, People, and Finance teams

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a law degree program (available for at least 6 months)
• Strong interest in AI, tech, legal operations, fintech, or compliance regulations
• Ability to visualize and document legal processes
• English proficiency (C1 or above); German skills are a plus
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Proactive, independent, and collaborative mindset
• High level of reliability and discretion with confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or interest in prompt engineering and AI research tools
• Familiarity with SaaS business models
