About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the legal department with German-US business law matters including civil, commercial, corporate, tax, customs, labor, immigration, and product liability law
- Assist with the collection service (Inkasso-Service) of AHK USA – New York
- Collaborate closely with the New York headquarters to answer general legal inquiries
- Contribute to local market expansion and network development in Boston
- Support the Boston site manager in business development activities

- Fluent German and English language skills
- Started legal clerkship (Rechtsreferendariat)
- Independent working style and self-motivation
- Strong communication skills and goal orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Negotiation-level English, ideally acquired through time abroad or an LL.M.
