Legal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture of legal systems to ensure scalability and cohesion
• Identify high-impact opportunities to improve legal workflows through automation and AI
• Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions using Claude, Harvey, and internal LLM platforms
• Build and oversee integrations across DocuSign CLM, Brightflag, Tonkean, and AODocs
• Develop APIs, automations, and data pipelines to connect systems and reduce manual effort
• Leverage Databricks and Snowflake for analytics and AI workflows
• Provide technical leadership for eDiscovery and Information Governance workflows

Requirements

• 7–10+ years in software engineering, systems engineering, or architecture roles
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms and APIs
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, Codex, or Copilot
• Deep ELM/eBilling experience, preferably with Brightflag
• Strong eDiscovery experience following the EDRM lifecycle
• Understanding of legal workflows including contracts, billing, and discovery
• Experience with data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
