Legal Support, AVP

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for Board meetings, including agendas, memoranda, resolutions, and draft minutes.
• Draft Board meeting minutes and resolutions for review by senior attorneys.
• Prepare SEC filings, including annual updates to Registration Statements on Form N-1A, supplements, Form N-PX, and Form N-CSR.
• Manage compliance with corporate filing calendars and recurring Board agendas.
• Coordinate with clients, outside counsel, and fund service providers regarding fund-related matters.
• Oversee special projects and assist in developing training programs for junior paralegal staff.
• Review current processes and collaborate with senior attorneys to implement efficiencies in response to regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of paralegal or related management experience.
• Significant experience within the financial services industry.
• Deep knowledge of the 1940 Act and SEC filing expertise.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently with minimal supervision.
