Legal Specialist (NPL)

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized legal support for NPL operations, including analysis, structuring, and credit recovery strategies
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for financial, banking, and debt restructuring operations, including credit assignments and distressed assets
• Support legal aspects of credit portfolio acquisitions and sales, analyzing risks, guarantees, and contractual structures
• Manage notifications, counter-notifications, and collection instruments in coordination with internal areas and external law firms
• Handle real estate operations related to credit recovery, including real guarantee analysis
• Negotiate service agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), and NDAs related to NPL operations
• Monitor indicators and data related to credit performance and recovery to support strategic decision-making

Requirements

• Degree in Law with active OAB registration
• Previous experience in NPL operations, credit recovery, financial/banking contracts, or debt restructuring
• Experience with data analysis, indicators, and reports, preferably related to credit and portfolio performance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with contract management systems such as Netlex
• Knowledge of financial and capital markets, loans, distressed credit, and special situations
